Summer Mixed Teams Competition (Oct-Mar)

Service Description

Every Wednesday, starting Week 1 of Term 4 (with a break for Summer school holidays) to Week 10 of Term 1. Where: Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre - Show Courts Game times: on 2 courts, a 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm start Grades: 2 grades (subject to grading). Registration Day: Individual and Teams Registrations Tryouts & Grading - at MARC Show Courts first Wed of the season from 6:15pm when Nomination Forms will be available for team captains to fill in and handed in on the day with the following information: * team's name * team's contact person+email+mobile * and the following details for all players: full name+ mobile + email address + VWA membership number Note: your VWA membership = "Contact Code" on VWA portal Each team MUST have TWO Junior or women's players on court! Costs: There are TWO fees EACH PLAYER needs to pay on time: 1. Mandurah Volleyball Association - Summer Competition Participation fee for 2 terms (payable to us on the spot during the Rego Day, cashless payment preferred): * Juniors U19 - $130 per person per season * Seniors - $150 per person per season Link to Mandurah Volleyball eShop here: https://mandurahvolleyball.square.site/ 2. VWA Membership fee (payable online before you join): Per person for 22/23 volleyball season (valid from April to March each year): * Player rego with VWA for insurance is compulsory. Choose either 23/24 Gold Adult Membership ($37) or 23/24 Gold U19 Membership ($31). Fixtures will be created after Week 1, the first round of the competition starts Week 2. NO LATE FEES ACCEPTED. NO PAY (by Week 3 of the competition), NO PLAY! Important: Each player is to individually register with VWA online here: https://volleyballwa.fortix.net.au/ if you haven't already earlier this year. Make sure you choose Mandurah Volleyball as your club and note down your membership number as you need to supply this to us during Rego Day! Please note that WAVL players need to apply for Platinum VWA membership. Registrations close end of Week 1. Please contact our club's Secretary in case you can't attend: secretary@mandurahvolleyball.com Uniforms: Each team MUST WEAR their team uniform with numbers before Week 3 of the competition. Plain tops with iron-on numbers are acceptable.
